An overview of stainless steel Mat Top conveyors For transporting untreated and heavy products horizontally or vertically, Mat Top conveyors are the answer. The Mat Top conveyor is characterised by an open belt consisting of elements which move independently of each other. This means, depending on the set-up, that it is perfectly possible to configure curves and inclines. Mat Top conveyors can also (because of their open surface) be perfectly adapted for products which are wet or need to be ventilated from below for cooling for example. We have developed a fantastic range of modular Mat Top conveyors. Key concepts include: quick and simple to construct thanks to modular design, high performance, safe and low noise level. The basis of the Mat Top system are high quality stainless steel profiles. Special slide profiles minimise friction between the belt and the profile. Depending on belt width and load, carrier profiles can be placed between the side profiles to support the belt. Mat Top systems allow you to create perfect curves; the minimum radius of the curve (inner radius) is1.5 till 2.3 times the belt width. The belt elements are made from D-acetal or PA 6.6, connected to each other using stainless steel or PA 6.6 connectors.
